Data protection Manager Associate

Mission

The Data Protection Manager Associate is an integral part of the team delivering the services sold by the company and is usually a junior profile. Her academic and professional background was built around the main sector targeted by the company: the Life Sciences. His skills were then developed at MyData-Trust or before, in the field of Data Protection. He works primarily as a project manager and as a DPO for clients. His tasks revolve around consulting, analysis around data protection, representation of clients with subjects and control authorities for whom he can be the first point of contact. He may be under the indications of a Data Protection Manager.

Main tasks

– Project management and coordination.
– Participate in meetings with customers.
– Perform data protection gap analysis (DPGA).
– Carry out the Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIA).
– Develop procedures, guidelines and templates.
– Give advice and recommendations on data protection.
– As a data protection expert, stay informed about the latest developments in this area.
– Organize internal information sessions on practical data protection developments in the Life Sciences sector in the field of data protection in order to keep the operational knowledge up-to-date.
– Perform various checks and readings.

Technical skills

The Data Protection Manager Associate must be able to:

– Put into practice his solid knowledge of GDPR and the protection of data in general.
– Relate his strong knowledge of the field of Life Sciences to GDPR and to data protection.
– Put into practice his leadership and persuasion skills.
